BABY DINOSAURS AND TAILS OF DINOSAURS
TAILS OF DINOSAURS
Ankylosaurus |
Most dinosaurs had a spectacular tail. It helped the dinosaur to balance
the weight, attain stability while stretching the neck and quickly change the
direction of movement. Some tails were remarkable different.
The Leaellynasaura had an
amazingly long tail that made up almost three fourth of its body length.
The Ankylosaurus had a bulky
club at the end of its tail which it flung at its attackers to break their
bones.
